Funke Akindele headlines Gbenga Adeyinka’s comedy show in Ibadan

Livng legend, King Sunny Ade has openly endorsed the hosting of Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka 1st GCOn and friends in Ibadan come March 31, 2013.
The Juju maestro and the comedian and actor, who were together in Ibadan recently, couldn’t hide their feelings as they talked and discussed about the show.
Meanwhile, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st GCON, has opened up on why Funke Akindele is headlining his show in Ibadan this year.
 In a chat with the comedian, he explained that the resolve to bring Funke Akindele on the board of his annual comedy show, Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka 1st and Friends, was borne out of her success in comedy and entertainment industry as a whole.
 “Funke has positioned herself as one of those you can’t help but reckon with in the entertainment industry and comedy in particular. She has worked assiduously and we feel the people of Ibadan deserve to drink from her fountain of talent,” the self acclaimed Grand Comedian of Nigeria expressed.
When Movie Moments probed further on the financial effect of the decision, Gbenga was quick to respond, “Cost is probably one of the most negligible part of this decision as putting up a first class show is paramount in our minds and Funke buys into this idea too.”
 Funke Akindele is billed to co-host the annual comedy show at Jogor Centre, Ibadan on Sunday March 31, 2013.
 Funke Akindele would be joined by HKN gang star, David Tokunbo Adeleke popularly known as Davido, May D, Skales, Dammy Krane, Seyi Shay, Capital Femi, LKT, Jaywon, Seyi Law, Omo Baba number 1, Lepacious Bose, Baba Gboin, Laffup, Obama, Peteru, Shete, Bash, Seriki, Kayefi, Project Fame star, Adetoun and Isaac Geralds, SB, DJ Van Vicki and DJ Sexy.
