Guess who is coming to town on May-Day? It’s none other than the hit US female group, Salt-N-Pepa.
Sources told NET yesterday, that the Grammy award-winning group will be in Lagos for a concert tagged ‘Divas Rock’, early May.
Organized by Rodizzio Entertainment, the concert is scheduled to take
place on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the 10 Degrees Event Centre, Ikeja
in Lagos.
And we’re told some of Nigeria’s finest female artistes Weird MC, Sasha P, Eva, and Ms Jaie will share the stage with the visiting acts
In the late 80s/90s, Salt-N-Pepa was
the main voice of female rappers selling millions of records and
winning several awards. They’re the first female rappers to win the
coveted Grammy award.
Some of their biggest hits include, ‘Shoop’, ‘Push it’, ‘Let’s talk about sex’ and ‘Whatta Man’.
