Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson will be tweeting from jail for the next 30 days. The out-of-work football player was in court today to seek a plea deal with no jail time for head butting his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada last year.
The judge was all set to agree to the plea deal when she asked Johnson if he was satisfied with the work of his attorney. Johnson responded by slapping his lawyer on his butt.
The courtroom erupted in laughter but the judge was not amused.
“I don’t know that you’re taking this whole thing seriously,” said Broward County Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh to Johnson. “I just saw you slap your attorney on the backside. Is there something funny about this?” she asked, before tossing out the plea deal.
Johnson took to his Twitter for one last tweet before he was hauled off to jail. “Love me through the good and the bad because I’m gone love you regardless… See you in 30…”
