The appreciation of the sport offers a boundless platform that provides a holistic viewpoint for upholding health awareness fights.
Mr. Okosun said, “Malaria Kills 655,000 people each year, 86% of which are children and it is on this ground that we are inviting Nigerians of all ages to join in the fight against the disease by coming out to participate in this soccer match, even as we continue to work towards transforming the lives of the less privileged and eliminating untimely deaths caused by the Malaria malaise.”
At the event, there were free mobile platforms provided by 3ra’afriqu communications for the society for Health and the Lagos State Ministry of Health  for Rapid Diagnostic Testing (RDT) that was set up to properly test and treat people positive with malaria through the new malaria remedy - Artemisilin Combination Therapy (ACT).
