That sound you just heard is the lid of Hip Hop’s coffin slamming shut on Hip Hop as a music genre.
Disgraced rapper Lil Wayne just found a sucker to get him back in the good graces of the corporate world. 3 weeks after getting dropped like a hot potato by Pepsi, Wayne has signed talentless socialite Paris Hilton to a record deal on Young Money Cash Money Records. Cash Money co-founder Birdman made the announcement on Twitter today.
“This is a lot different than my first album. It’s really going to be house music,” said Hilton with a straight face.
Last fall, Wayne and Hilton made a track together titled “Audio Bomb“. Predictably the song bombed.
