Action Man “Jack Bauer” Set To Return Once More In ’24′ Movie
After many years of airing, successfully, the action packed tv series 24 was set for a movie adaptation which would start production in April of this year. However FOX, who seems they’re in the News more than other studios lately, reneged on this plan as they had budgetary concerns.
The studio had issues with paying the expected $5 million requested by the lead actor Kiefer Sutherland (Jack Bauer) and initially offered him a low amount of $1 million before trying to settle him with $2 million. In addition to this, the studio also tried to limit the expenses to $30 million as against the minimum amount of $40 million which Sutherland and the director, Brian Grazer, thought was necessary to get the job done which made the actor furious when FOX halted production of the movie.
Now it seems work commence on the project as The Wrap reports that the movie will go into production next year with a new writer trying to work on the script and adjustments made here and there just to make sure the movie comes through.
