Sylvester Stallone Teases Mel Gibson Directing ‘Expendables 3′

mel-gibson It is certain that there will be a third installment to Sylvester Stallone’s Expendables, no word on who would be attached to direct the movie was uttered. Until today that is when the actor, writer and director went on twitter and posted the possibility of Mel Gibson joining the project.
Mel is no newbie to action movies and it would be nice to see him in a movie with the other action men however that’s not what Stallone has in mind as he tweeted to get responses from people if they’d like to have Mel Gibson direct the movie instead.


While Stallone seems to have been kidding when he posted the tweet, I’m sure all the real movie people out there have seen at least one movie directed by Mel Gibson (remember he directed Braveheart, Passion of The Christ, and Apocalypto) so consider it, would you want to see him direct Expendables 3?
Expendables 3 is one of the closely followed projects out there and for good reasons too as the original and the follow up (Expendables 2) were smash hits. The upcoming movie has a number of big names already lined up however some names fans expected to appear such as Steven Seagal won’t be amongst the cast. However the show must go on.
